Secure Labs is a Nairobi-based product company, founded September 2025. The product was built from the ground up — from watching how visitor management actually plays out at Nairobi's gates, and from the incident reports that pile up when the register is blank.
If a system can be edited after the fact without a trace, it isn't a record. Append-only, immutable, structured exports — non-negotiable.
African property doesn't get a translated version of someone else's product. The defaults — currency, identity, compliance — assume Kenya, then generalise outward.
The platform competes on legibility, not novelty. A board treasurer should understand it without a tutorial. If a feature requires explaining, we redesign it.
The DPA is not a checkbox. Lawful purpose, retention, data requests and audit are first-class features — not a footnote at the bottom of the contract.
We do not pitch from slide decks. We walk the property, sit at the gate, and write the spec for what we actually saw. Always.
Mechatronics engineering. Owns the product, the platform architecture, and the integration layer between the gate and the ledger.
Statistics and commercial. Owns sales, accounting, and the compliance posture that makes the DPA module a genuine product surface rather than a checkbox.
